CUY-6-13.00 Survey and ROW

Euthenics provided survey and right-of-way support for the ODOT CUY-6-13.00 / PID 110811 bridge-replacement project along U.S.

Project overview

Scope & delivery

Euthenics provided survey and right-of-way support for the ODOT CUY-6-13.00 / PID 110811 bridge-replacement project along U.S. 6 (West Memorial Shoreway) over the lower entrance to Edgewater Park in Cleveland. The existing bridge is a single-span approximately 73 feet long and 75 feet wide carrying six lanes of U.S. 6 mainline traffic. Euthenics established project control and benchmarks using ODOT VRS; set Type A and Type B monuments; recovered and researched centerline and right-of-way monuments; resolved existing right-of-way and boundary lines; established tax identification and ownership information on the OpenRoads base map; and prepared topographic, bridge, utility, and right-of-way survey information. Survey limits covered the bridge, adjacent ramps, Edgewater Park access drive, and the West 73rd Street and Shoreway approaches. Utility support included OUPS coordination and locating utility markings, with traffic-control coordination for survey work along the multi-lane Shoreway. The survey and right-of-way information supported ODOT's structure type study, conceptual maintenance-of-traffic evaluation, utility coordination, and subsequent bridge-replacement design activities.
