Overview
Euthenics provides traffic engineering for intersections, urban corridors, highways, ramps, and interchanges. Work includes traffic data collection, forecasting, traffic impact and speed studies, crash and safety analysis, capacity and level-of-service analysis, signal warrant analysis, and comparison of build and no-build alternatives.
Project teams use tools including Highway Capacity Software and Synchro to evaluate signalized intersections, freeway segments, weaving areas, ramps, storage lanes, and corridor operations. Design assignments include traffic signals, phasing and timing, signal interconnection and coordination, signing, pavement markings, and maintenance of traffic.
Traffic work is also integrated with access-management plans, bike lanes, shared-use paths, sidewalks, and other pedestrian accommodations when those elements are part of the roadway project.
