LORAIN AVENUE TRAFFIC STUDY (WEST 117TH TO WEST 65TH)

Euthenics prepared a traffic study along Lorain Avenue from West 117th Street to West 65th Street in the City of Cleveland. The analysis investigated converting Lorain Avenue to one lane in each direction with bike lanes. Tasks included corridor system analysis using Highway Capacity Software (HCS) or Synchro for existing no-build and proposed build lane configurations. HCS analysis was used to determine the level of service at each of the 15 signalized intersections. Euthenics also performed safety analysis in accordance with ODOT Location & Design Manual Volume 1, Section 106, using ODOT's GCAT/CAM tool to extract and analyze crash data from the three most recent years. Euthenics prepared a report summarizing the findings.
