Project overview

Scope & delivery

Euthenics provided engineering and surveying services for both phases of the Fair Street Reconstruction Project located in Berea, Ohio. Euthenics performed a comprehensive site survey that included all topographic and utility features. The locations of all underground and overhead utilities were obtained and plotted on the basemap. Property lines and the surrounding road rights-of-way were established. AutoCAD Civil 3D was used to create the digital terrain model. The project included full-depth pavement reconstruction of 5,000 feet of Fair Street, new sidewalks, the installation of 5,240 feet of new sanitary sewer and 2,880 feet of new storm sewer ranging in size from 12 to 36 inches. A manufactured water quality structure was designed to satisfy the Ohio EPA post-construction BMP requirements. The project also included the installation of 7,000 feet of new 8-inch and 12-inch PVC waterline along Fair Street and Race Street. Euthenics completed the applications and obtained the Ohio EPA Permit to Install (PTI) for the sanitary sewer, obtained Ohio EPA approval for the waterline, and filed the Ohio EPA Notice of Intent (NOI) for stormwater discharge. Construction administration and full-time inspection services were provided.
