FOSDICK ROAD BRIDGE REPLACEMENT FINAL PLANS

Euthenics completed a structure type study investigating structure alternatives to replace the existing three-span bridge over the Ohio and Erie Canal in the Village of Valley View. The proposed scope of work was based on Euthenics' field condition inspection to determine the suitability for rehabilitation of the existing structure or complete replacement. Complete replacement was recommended. The study also included hydrologic and hydraulic impacts and coordination with major stakeholders, including the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Cleveland Metroparks, ODOT, and the local floodplain coordinator. Euthenics provided engineering and surveying services to prepare construction and right-of-way plans for the replacement structure and adjacent roadway work.
