ODOT District 3 selected Euthenics to design the improvements to SR 18 from the Medina/Summit County Line to Windfall Road in Medina County. This project was a comprehensive pavement rehabilitation with intersection improvements to 6 intersections, traffic control, signing and striping included. There was survey & basemapping, utility coordination especially in the intersections with some relocations. This roadway section was previously reconstructed in early 2000's to eliminate the bifurcated grade separation between eastbound and westbound lanes that resulted in left turn safety concerns along this heavily traveled 5-lane state route. Stormwater management and drainage systems were designed to current standards as part of the work. 27 parcels of property were acquired for this project.
