Project overview
Scope & delivery
Euthenics provided engineering and surveying services for the replacement of the POR-Pioneer Trail Bridge over the Aurora Branch of the Chagrin River in Portage County, Ohio. The project was assigned by the Portage County Engineer as part of a statewide task order contract with the County Engineer's Association of Ohio (CEAO). The project replaced twin corrugated metal pipe culverts spanning 18 feet with a 20-foot clear-span reinforced concrete box culvert with cast-in-place concrete headwalls in the City of Aurora. Euthenics' services included conducting the initial survey and basemapping, hydraulic analysis to size the waterway opening, preliminary and final design calculations, cost and quantity estimates, preparation of the Preliminary Design Report, Stage 2 plans, and final PS&E (Plans, Specifications, and Estimates) submittal. All work was contained within the existing right-of-way for this ODOT Local Let project.
